Materials:
Circulo Amigurumi Yarn in colors of choice;
G/4.25mm crochet hook;
Scissors;
Yarn needle.
Abbreviations
Ch - chain
St - stitch
Sl st - slip stitch
Sts - stitches
Sc - single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Tr - triple crochet
Rep - repeat
Special Stitches
Dc-cluster: 3 dc in same stitch
Flower Instructions (make 5)
Start with flower center color of choice
Round 1: Ch 2, 12 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Join with a sl st in the first sc. Finish off.
Join petal color with a sc in any sc.
Round 2: Ch 5, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the next 3 chs, ch 1, sl st in the same st as the first sc, sc in the next sc, sc in the next sc, ch 5, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the next 3 chs, ch 1, sl st in the same st as the last sc before the ch-5, sc in the next sc, repeat from * around. Sc in the last sc.
Round 3: Working up the side of the petals [sc in the first st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, 4 dc in next st], working in sc on the other side of the petal [3 dc in next sc, dc in next sc, hdc in next sc, sc in next sc], sl st in next 2 sc (between petals), repeat from * around, sk 1 sc, sl st in next sc. Finish off.
Leaf Instructions (make 6)
With leaf color of choice, chain 11
Row 1: 1 sc in the 3rd ch from the hook, 1 hdc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 tr in the next st, 2 tr in the next st, 1 tr in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st, work [1 sc, ch1, 1 sc] in the last ch. Now working on the other side of the ch, 1 hdc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 tr in the next st, 2 tr in the next st, 1 tr in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next st, 1 sc in the last sl st. Finish off.
Bodice Instructions
*Regarding sizing for the bodice, you can make this any width by chaining a foundation ch with a multiple of 3 + 2. Please keep in mind that this is a lace up back so when testing your foundation chain, wrap it around your chest and make sure there are at least 2-3 inches of a gap. It will stretch out once you lace it up.
S (M, L, XL)
With color of choice ch 92 (102, 113, 122) *Please test foundation ch and adjust accordingly
Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc in the first st, sk 2 sts, dc-cluster in the next st; rep from across to the last 3 sts, sk 2 sts, 2 dc in last st. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc-cluster in the next sp between clusters; rep from across to the last st, 1 dc in the last st (top of the turning chain). Turn.
Row 4: Ch 2 (counts as dc), dc in first st, dc-cluster in next sp between clusters; rep from across to last st, 2 dc in last st (top of the turning chain). Turn.
Change color.
Repeat Rows 3-4 to the desired length, changing colors every 3 rows.
Once you have desired length, turn.
Ch 1, 1 sc in each st across. Finish off.
Bottom Border Instructions
With right side facing you, join color of choice in the corner and ch 2
Row 1: 1 hdc in each st across. Finish off color.
Join next color, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in the first st, sk 1 st, 3 dc in the next st, sk 1, 1 sc in the next st repeat from * across. Depending on your number of stitches, the end for this row will be different for everyone. Just finish it with whatever st you are on when you reach the end of the row. Then finish off the color.
Join next color, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in each st across, placing a long sc in the same sp as the sc from the previous row. Finish off color..
Top Border Instructions
With color of choice, join in the top corner and ch 1.
Row 1: 1 sc in each st across. Finish off.
Lace Up Strap Instructions (make 2)
With three strands held together, attach yarn with a sl st in desired place on the front of the bodice, then ch 200. Finish off.
Repeat for the other strap.
Then flip over your work and lace up the back by weave the straps in and out of the holes that were created by the dc-clusters.
Fringe Instructions
Cut three strands of one color all the same length and place them in the sc sts along the bottom border of the bodice. Repeat across, changing colors as you go.
