Size: 51 x 43 inches / 130 x 110 cm (excluding fringes)


Materials:

2 Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn rolls (700g – 24.7 oz) – Color: #20 (Natural);

1 Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn roll in each color (400g – 14 oz) – Colors: #8336 (Lead) and #7259 (Bronze);

Círculo Crochet Hook – 4.0 mm.


Stitch Glossary & Abbreviations: st. (Stitch), sts. (Stitches), r. (Row), sl st. (Slip Stitch), ch. (Chain), e.dc. (Elongated Double Crochet Stitch), sc. (Single Crochet), BLsc. (Single Crochet taking the back loop of the base stitch).


Gauge: A 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) square in fantasy stitch, using Natural Cotton 4/6 yarn and a 4.0 mm hook = 13 sts. x 14 rows.


Execution:

 

With Natural yarn, leave an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail and start with 170 ch. + 1 ch. to turn the work.


R1: Work into the 2nd ch. from the hook with 1 sc. in each foundation ch. Fasten off, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe.


R2: Attach the Bronze yarn to the starting ch. of the previous row, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe. Start with 1 ch., 1 sc., then work 1 BLsc. in each stitch until the second-to-last stitch. Finish with 1 sc. Fasten off.


R3: Attach the Natural yarn to the starting ch. of the previous row, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe. Start with 1 ch., 1 sc., then work 1 e.dc. in each stitch until the second-to-last stitch, inserting the hook into the front loops of row 1 (leaving the previous row on the wrong side of the piece). Finish with 1 sc. in the last stitch of the previous row. Fasten off, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe.


R4: Attach the Bronze yarn to the starting ch. of the previous row, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe. Start with 1 ch., 1 sc., then work 1 BLsc. in each stitch until the second-to-last stitch. Finish with 1 sc. Fasten off.


R5: Attach the Natural yarn to the starting ch. of the previous row, leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail for the fringe. Start with 1 ch., 1 sc., then work 1 BLsc. in each stitch until the second-to-last stitch. Finish with 1 sc. Fasten off.


Continue following the chart, always leaving an 3 inches (8 cm) yarn tail at the beginning and end of each row to form the fringes, making the necessary color changes.


Fasten off all yarn ends.
