Instructions
Preparing the Molds
To start, transfer the molds to wax paper. This will serve as a reference when making the piece. Pay close attention to the arrows on the measurements chart. They indicate the direction of the work.
Back
Cast-on 51 sts using Inlove in the color Rubi and 6.0 mm needles.
Start at the bottom, working in stitch pattern A (12 mot + 3 sts) (chart 1).
At 35 cm from the CO edge, shape the armholes by decreasing every 4th row. Decrease 3 sts (1x), then 2 sts (1x). You should end with 41 sts.
Continue working in pattern. At 55 cm from the CO edge, BO all sts and reserve the panel.
Front
Cast-on 51 sts using Inlove in the color Rubi and 6.0 mm needles.
Start at the bottom, working in stitch pattern A (12 mot + 3 sts) (chart 1).
At 35 cm from the CO edge, shape the armholes. Decrease every 4th row: 3 sts (1x) then 2 sts (1x). End with 41 sts.
At 50 cm from the CO edge, BO the 9 center stitches. Continue working on each side separately.
Decrease every 2nd row on the neckline edge. Decrease 2 sts (2x), then 1 st (1x).
At 55 cm from the CO edge, BO the remaining 11 sts on each side. Reserve the panel.
Sleeves
Cast-on 43 sts using Inlove in the color Rubi and 5.5 mm needles.
Start at the cuff and work in 1x1 rib, following chart 2 for 6 cm.
Make 28 increases in the last row of the cuff, ending with 71 sts.
Change to 6.0 mm needles and proceed in stitch pattern A (17 mot + 3 sts), following chart 1.
At 24 cm from the CO edge, shape the sleeve by decreasing on each edge every 2nd row: 3 sts (1x), then 2 sts (1x).
Make 7 more rows, then decrease again: 1 st (1x), 2 sts (2x), and 3 sts (1x).
At 29 cm from the CO edge, BO the remaining 49 sts. Repeat for the second sleeve and reserve them.
Assembling
Using a tapestry needle and Inlove in the color Rubi, seam the left shoulder (10 cm).
Leave the right shoulder unseamed. This will facilitate the collar's construction.
Seam the sides of the body (35 cm), leaving 20 cm unseamed for armholes.
Seam the sleeves and attach them to the body.
Collar
Using Inlove in the color Rubi and 6.0 mm needles, pick up and k 66 sts around the neckline.
Work in stitch pattern B for 3 rows.
BO all sts in pattern, leaving a 25 cm yarn tail.
Thread the tail through a tapestry needle and seam the collar and the right shoulder (10 cm).
Adding Strings
Using the 3.0 mm crochet hook and Inlove in the color Rubi, work 2 strings with 35 cm each.
Thread them on the last row of the cuffs.
Tie them with a bow to create a puffy sleeve effect.
