Materials:
2 Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn rolls (400g / 14oz each) – Color: #8336 (Lead);
1 Natural Cotton Maxcolor 4/6 yarn rolls (400g / 14oz) – Color: #8001 (White);
2 Natural Cotton Multicolor Premium 4/6 yarn rolls – Color: #9368 (Sunshine);
Círculo Crochet Hook – 3.5 mm.
Stitch Glossary & Abbreviations: r.: row, ch.: chain, st.: stitch, sl st.: slip stitch, sc.: single crochet, dc.: double crochet.
Gauge: A 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) square in dc. using a 3.5 mm hook = 15 sts. x 7 rows.
Execution
Blanket: With Lead yarn, make 180 ch. + 1 ch to turn the work, and follow Chart 1 or the written instructions below. Work in back-and-forth rows.
R1: Work 1 sc. in the 2nd ch. from the hook, 1 sc. in each of the next 4 foundation ch., 1 dc. in each of the next 10 foundation ch., 1 sc. in each of the next 10 foundation ch. , repeat 8x, 1 dc. in each of the next 10 foundation ch., 1 sc. in each of the last 5 foundation ch.
R2 and 3: With White yarn, work 1 ch., then work 1 sc. in each following stitch.
R4 and 5: With Sunshine yarn, make 3 ch. in the first stitch, 1 dc. in each of the next 4 stitches, 1 sc. in each of the next 10 stitches, 1 dc. in each of the next 10 stitches , repeat 8x, 1 sc. in each of the next 10 stitches, 1 dc. in each of the last 15 stitches.
R6 and 7: With White yarn, work 1 ch., then work 1 sc. in each following stitch.
Continue following Chart 1, paying attention to the color changes.
Border: With Charcoal Gray yarn, follow Chart 2 around the blanket. For the fringes, work on the shorter edges, attach the fringe as follows: Make 1 sl st. in the base stitch, extend the loop on the hook to 16 inches (40 cm), wrap the yarn 40x around the hook, fold the loop, make 1 sl st. in the next base stitch, and release the loop. Repeat this process multiple times.
