Abbreviations: BO: bind-off,  CO: cast-on, st: stitch, sts: stitches, RS: right side; WS: wrong side.

Stitches used: 1x1 rib (flat): follow chart 1, broken rib (flat): follow chart 2.

Gauge– 10x10 cm square in broken rib (chart 2), with 6.0 mm needles = 15 sts x 19 rows.

Execution: transfer the molds to wax paper to use as reference when knitting the piece. Pay attention to the arrows in the measuring chart indicating the direction of the work. Knit flat.

Back: using the yarn Inlove in the color Nautical, CO 64 sts on the 5.0 circular needles. Start the piece in 1x1 rib, following chart 1 and the st repeat for 5 cm; in the last row, make 6 evenly distributed increases, ending with 70 sts. Switch to 6.0 mm circular needles and work in broken rib, following chart 2 and the st repeat for 26 cm. BO  9 sts on each side of the work (52 sts in total) to shape the armholes. When the panel measures 45 cm from the CO edge, shape the shoulder slope: every 2nd row, BO 6 sts (1 time), then 5 sts (1 time) and 4 sts (1 time). At 47 cm from the CO edge, BO the 22 center sts and place the panel aside.

Front: using the yarn Inlove in the color Nautical, CO 64 sts on the 5.0 circular needles. Start the piece working in 1x1 rib, following chart 1 and the st repeat for 5 cm; on the last row, make 6 evenly distributed increases, ending with 70 sts. Switch to 6.0 mm circular needles and work in broken rib, following chart 2 and the st repeat for 26 cm. BO  9 sts on each side of the work (52 sts in total) to shape the armholes. When the panel measures 41 cm from the CO edge, BO the 14 center sts to shape the neckline and work on each side (19 sts) separately: decrease 1 st every 2nd row (4 times in total), on the neckline edges only. When the panel measures 45 cm from the CO edge, shape the shoulder slope: every 2nd row, BO 6 sts (1 time), then 5 sts (1 time) and 4 sts (1 time). At 47 cm from the CO edge, BO the 22 center sts and place the panel aside.

Assembling: seam the left shoulder (10 cm) with kitchener stitch, using a tapestry needle and Inlove in the color Nautical. Don’t seam the right shoulder yet so it’s easier to knit the collar.

Collar: using the yarn Inlove in the color Nautical and 5.0 mm needles, pick up 75 sts around the neckline and work in 1x1 rib for 5 cm, following chart 1 and the st repeat. BO all sts, leaving a yarn tail of approximately 25 cm. Use this tail and a tapestry needle to close the collar (5 cm) and the right shoulder (10 cm).

Right armhole ribbing: using the yarn Inlove in the color Nautical and 5.0 mm needles, pick up 70 sts around the armhole. Work in 1x1 rib, following chart 1 and the st repeat for 12 cm. BO all sts, leaving a yarn tail of approximately 85 cm. Fold the ribbing in half, doubling its thickness, and seam it to the inside of the piece.

Left armhole ribbing: repeat the instructions for the right ribbing.

Finishing: seam the sides of the body (26 cm) using a tapestry needle and Inlove in the color Nautical, leaving the armhole (19 cm) and the bottom ribbing (6 cm) without seaming.
