 Instructions

Start with the neckline

CO 61, 61, 61 (65, 65, 65, 65) sts.

Knit 2 rows.

Neckline rib row 1: K1 K1, P1 rep _ to the last st, K1, turn

Neckline rib row 2: K1 P1, K1 rep _ to the last st, K1, turn

Rep Neckline rib rows 1 and 2 - 12 times

Mark the stitches for the Raglan

Here I like to use the locking stitch marker on the stitch, so I can keep bringing it to the working row).

Sizes I, II and III: 10, 20, 41, 51

Sizes IV, V, VI and VII: 11, 21, 42, 52

Raglan and Neckline

Raglan row 1: K to the marked st, IncR, K the marked st, IncL rep _ 4 times, K to the end of the row, turn

Raglan row 2: K1, P to the last st, K1, turn. Move all stitch markers up to this row to remap the stitches.

Rep Raglan row 1 and 2 - 5, 5, 5 (8, 8, 8, 10) times

Join the Round

Knit one row of Raglan Row 1 to the last st. Don’t turn.

Next row: Join the first and last stitch by making a C1x1L (Hold the last st of the Raglan row 1 on a cable needle, K the first stitch of the next row, K the st on the cable needle). This is the start of your round, place a BOR marker. K to the end of the row. Move all stitch markers up to this row to remap the stitches.

Now we are going to work in the round for the rest of the garment. From now on, the Raglan Rows are:

Raglan Round 1: K to the marked st, IncR, K the marked st, IncL rep _ 4 times, K to the end of the row

Raglan Round 2: Knit. Move all stitch markers up to this row to remap the stitches.

Keep repeating Raglan Round 1 and 2 - 12, 13, 15 (14, 17, 24) times.

By now you have increased 18, 19, 21 (23, 26, 29, 33) times and you have 205, 213, 229 (249, 273, 297, 329)

Splitting body and sleeves:

K to the 1st marked st, K the marked st, hold the sts between the 1st and 2nd marker using a st holder, inc 4, 6, 8 (8, 10, 10, 12) sts, K to the 3rd marker, hold the sts between the 3rd and 4th marker using a st holder, inc 4, 6, 8 (8, 10, 10, 12) sts.

Knit until 5 cm/ 2” before desired length. Work 5 cm/ 2” in k1, p1 rib. BO lovely (I like to bind off using larger needles).

Sleeves

(Choose the best way to work in the round: double pointed needles, magic loop or small needles. If you still struggle to knit sleeves in the round consider working it flat. If that is your choice, start by inc half the sts, knit one row, inc half the sts, purl one row and keep in stockinette).

Pick up the stitches on hold. With the knit side facing you, knit 1 row, inc 2, 3, 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) sts, place a BOR marker, inc 2, 3, 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) sts, join the round.

Knit 7 rows

Sleeve Decrease Row: K1, SSK, K to 3 sts before the marker, K2tog, k1

Repeat the Sleeve Decrease Row every 8 rows 5, 6, 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) times.

Knit til 7 cm/ 2.75” before sleeve length. Work 7 cm/ 2.75” in k1, p1 rib. BO lovely (I like to bind off using larger needles).

Weave in ends and block the sweater.
