MATERIALS
1 skein of Circulo Lucky Feet sport yarn in color 3274 (300 yd / 330 m, 100 g)
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Measuring tape
Stitch markers
Suggested needles: set of DPNs or circular needle with a minimum of 32” / 80 cm for magic loop and size US 1/2.25 mm or the necessary size to achieve gauge.
GAUGE
34 sts and 45 rows = 4” / 10 cm knit in stockinette stitch in the round and blocked.

SIZES:
Always remember that the chosen size should take into account the circumference of your foot with a negative ease of 0.75”/2 cm. If your measure is between sizes, always choose the smaller.

CUFF:
Using the German Twisted CO, CO 48, 60, 72 sts, PM, close the row to work in the round.
Rnd 1: k2, p2 to the end of the rnd.
Repeat rnd 1 more 14, 19, 19 times, or until you have a total of 15, 20, 20 rnds for the cuff.
LEG:
Lets work the stitch pattern (see chart on p.4):
Rnd 1: k to the end of the rnd.
Rnd 2: k2, p2 to the end of the rnd.
Repeat rnds 1 and 2 until obtain a leg of 6” / 15 cm including the cuff or desired lenght.
HEEL FLAP:
We´ll work the reinforced heel Eye of the Partridge using flat knitting.
Work only the 24, 30, 36 heel sts, let the 24, 30, 36 instep sts resting.
Row 1 (RS): sl1, k1, to last stitch, p1.
Row 2 (WS): sl1, p to the end of the row.
Row 3 (RS): sl2, k1, sl1, to last stitch, p1.
Row 4 (WS): sl1, p to the end of the row.
Repeat rows 1 to 4 more 5, 6, 8 times, or a total of 24, 28, 36 rows.
HEEL TURN
Lets split the heel flap sts in three, resulting in: 8, 10, 12, PM, 8, 10, 12, PM, 8, 10, 12.
Row 1 (RS): sl1, k to the second m, SM, ssk, k1, turn.
Row 2 (WS): sl1, p to the second m, SM, p2tog, p1, turn.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have worked all the sts on both sides.
GUSSET
Set up row (RS): PM (this is your new BOR marker), pick up and knit 12, 15, 18 sts along the left edge of the heel flap inserting your needle inside the chain formed by the slipped sts. Work the 24, 30, 36, instep sts in pattern, PM, pick up and knit 12, 15, 18 sts along the right edge of the heel flap, PM, k 8, 10, 12, (these are the heel sts).
Now we go back to work in the rnd.
Rnd 1: k all left gusset sts, work the 24, 30, 36, instep sts in pattern, k all the right gusset sts, k all heel sts.
Rnd 2: k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k1, work all 24, 30, 36, instep sts in the pattern, SM, k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k1, SM, k all heel sts.
Repeat rnds 1 and 2 until you obtain 48, 60, 72 sts again, 24, 30, 36, sts for the sole and 24, 30, 36, sts for the instep.
FOOT
Keep working the 24, 30, 36 instep sts in pattern and the 24, 30, 36 sole sts in stockinette.
Knit until you have a foot lenght 2” / 5 cm smaller than your actual foot, including the heel.
TOES
Rnd 1: k to the end of the rnd.
Rnd 2: k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k to the other m, SM, k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before the m, k2tog, k1, SM, k all sts.
Repeat rnds 1 and 2 until you have 6, 8, 10 instep sts and 6, 8, 10 sts in the sole, or 12, 16, 20 sts total.
Graft the remaining sts together.
Weave your ends. Repeat all the above steps on the other sock.
Wet block your pair in cold water and enjoy!
