Premium T-Shirt yarn scraps – Colors: 8990 (Black), 1289 (Canary) & 7684 (Porcelain)
Crochet Hook – 5.0 mm & 7.0 mm
Tapestry Needle – No. 13
Silicone Glue

Stitch Glossary & Abbreviations: st. (Stitch), sts. (Stitches), ch. (Chain), sl st. (Slip Stitch), rnd. (Round), sc. (Single Crochet), Wc st. (Waistcoat Stitch), hdc. (Half Double Crochet), dc. (Double Crochet), BL sc. (Back Loop Single Crochet), inc. (increase of 2 stitches in the same base stitch), Magic Ring, Invisible Round Closure (Slip the loop off the hook, insert it into the first stitch of the round, pull the loop through, and remove it from the hook, setting it aside for the next step. Insert the hook into the middle of the stitch formed, yarn over, and pull it to the front. Insert the hook into the reserved loop, yarn over, and pull through both loops at once.).
Instructions
Chart 1 – Bottom of the Bag
With the Love Apple yarn and 7.0 mm hook, start with 10 ch. + 1 ch. to turn the work.
1- Start in the 2nd ch. from the hook, work: 9 sc., 3 sc. in the same base ch., on the other side of the foundation ch., work: 8 sc., 1 inc. Close with invisible round closure.
Set the yarn aside.
Chart 2 – Lateral
Continue with the Love Apple yarn from chart 1.
1- 22 BL sc. Close with invisible round closure.
2 to 5- 22 wc st. Close with invisible round closure. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.
Join the Black yarn.
6 & 7- 22 wc st. Close with invisible round closure. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.
Join the Love Apple yarn.
8 to 15- 22 wc st. Close with invisible round closure.
16- 1 sl st., 1 ch., repeat from to all around the round. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.
Chart 3 – Buckle Embroidery
With the Canary yarn and 5.0 hook, work the embroidery by making sl sts.
Hold the yarn inside the piece, insert the hook between the sts. of the base round, yarn over the yarn inside, and pull it out, leaving a loop on the hook. Insert the hook again into the next base st., yarn over, and pull it out; pass the same yarn through the reserved loop on the hook, forming a new loop. Work to create a buckle shape over the black section, centering it on the front of the bag, following the number of sts. in Chart 3. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.
Chart 4 – Handle
Join the Love Apple yarn to one of the snap hooks and work with a 5.0 mm hook:
1- 3 sc. into the snap hook
2 to 127- 3 sc.
Fasten off the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. Using a tapestry needle, sew the snap hook onto the last row of the handle, and glue the ends.
Chart 4 – Santa’s Hat Keychain
With the Love Apple yarn and 7.0 mm hook, start with 4 ch. + 1 ch. to turn the work.
1- Start in the 2nd ch. from the hook, work: 1 sl st., 1 sc., 1 hdc., 1 dc.
2- Go up 1 ch., work 4 sc. into the side of the dc. from the 1st row.Fasten off the yarn, leaving a tail to attach the ring. Slide the yarn between the sts. to the tip of the hat, make a loop through the ring, tie it on the back side, and glue the ends.
3- Join the Porcelain yarn to the 1st st. of the 2nd row, work: 1 inc., 1 sc., repeat from to one more time. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.
