Happy Easter Tic-Tac-Toe

Level of difficulty




Approximate size: 16 inches (40 cm).

 

Materials:

1 Amigurumi yarn ball – Color: #8001 (White), #5203 (Greenery) & #4146 (Egg Yoke);

Natural Cotton Maxcolor yarn roll – Color: #2204 (Candy Green);

Maxi Mouline thread – Color: #8990 (Black);

Crochet hook – 2.5 mm & 3.0 mm;

Hot glue.

Execution


Base

With Natural Cotton Maxcolor yarn #2204 (Candy Green) and 3.0 hook

Make 41 ch., skip the 1st one.

R1: 40 sc.;

R2 to R22 (21 rounds): 2 ch. (count as 1 dc.), 38 crossed dc., 1 dc. = 40 dc.

Fasten off.

 

Divisions

With one strand of Natural Cotton Maxcolor yarn #2204 (Candy Green) and one strand of Amigurumi yarn #8001 (White) held together, and 3.0 hook

Make 4 cords of 43 chains.

Fasten off.

Sew or glue, forming a tic-tac-toe grid with 7 rows of space between the cords.

 

Carrots (5)

With Amigurumi yarn #4146 (Egg Yoke) and 2.5 mm hook 

Make a magic ring with 2 sc., but do not close it.Work in back-and-forth rows, making 1 ch. at the end of each row to turn the work.

R1: 2 inc., 1 ch. (TURN) = 4 sc.;

R2: 4 sc., 1 ch. (TURN) = 4 sc.;

R3: 1 inc., 3 sc., 1 ch. (TURN) = 5 sc.;

R4: 1 inc., 4 sc., 1 ch. (TURN) = 6 sc.;

R5: 1 inc., 5 sc., 1 ch. (TURN) = 7 sc.;

R6: 7 sc. 1 ch.

Go around the piece with sc., making a incT. At the corners.

Fasten off.

 

Carrot Sprigs (5)

With Amigurumi yarn #5203 (Greenery) and 2.5 mm hook

At the top of the carrot, find the center and start in a sc. from the stitch before the middle.

R1: Make 4 ch., 3 sl st. in the chains, 1 sl st. in the base stitch, 5 ch., 4 sl st. in the chains, 1 sl st. in the base stitch, 4 ch., 3 sl st. in the chains, and 1 sl st. in the base stitch.

Fasten off.

 

Bunnies (5)

With Amigurumi yarn #8001 (White) and 2.5 hook

R1: 6 sc. inside of a magic ring;

R2: 6 inc. = 12 sc.

Note: pm. on first sc.;

R3: 1 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 18 sc.;

R4: 1 sc., 1 inc., (2 sc., 1 inc.) x5, 1 sc. = 24 sc.;

R5: 3 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 30 sc.;

Close it with 1 sl st.

With Maxi Mouline thread and Amigurumi yarn, embroider the eye details and nose.

 

Bunnies’ Ears (10)

With Amigurumi yarn #8001 (White) and 2.5 hook

Make 7 ch., skip the 1st one.

R1: 5 sc., 1 incT. in the last ch., on the other side of the foundation ch.: 4 sc., 1 inc. = 14 sc.

Fasten off.

Glue or sew the sides of one ear to the other, then glue or sew them onto the bunny.
