Gauge– 10x10 cm square in stockinette, using 4 mm needles = 22 sts x 29 rows.
Execution – the piece is knit in the round. Place a stitch marker before the 1st stitch so you don’t lose track of the beginning of the round.
Front, back and sleeves- are worked together until the end of the yoke. Start at the neckline. Cast-on 96 sts on the 4 mm needles and work in 2x2 rib in the round. When the work measures 2 cm from the cast-on edge, increase evenly by 4 sts on the 1st round and work as follows: right after the BOR st marker, k 14 sts (half of the back- stockinette), place SM, make 4 sts in the raglan lace pattern, place SM, 14 sts in the sleeve lace pattern, place SM, 4 sts in the raglan st pattern, place SM, k 28 for the front (stockinette), place SM, 4 sts in the raglan st pattern, place SM, 14 sts in the sleeve lace pattern, place SM, 4 sts in the raglan st pattern, place SM and k 14 other half of the back- stockinette). Knit in that order for 58 rounds, increasing on every 2nd round 1 stitch on each side of the sleeves in their respective lace pattern and 1 stitch on each side of the front and back in stockinette- 29 increase rounds. You should end with 72 sts on each sleeve and 86 sts on each front and back, 332 stitches in total, including 16 raglan sts.
When you’re done with the increases, split the stitches as follows: 72 sts for the first sleeve, 94 sts for the front, 72 sts for the second sleeve and 94 sts for the back. Place the sleeve stitches on the stitch holders and work front and back together in the round. Cast-on 5 sts on each underarm to join front and back (198 sts in total). Keep the BOR stitch marker on the back. Knit in stockinette until the body measures 28 cm from the underarm, then make 2 decreases and work in 2x2 rib for 3 more cm. Bind-off all sts.
Sleeves- pick up and knit 5 sts on the underarm and place the sleeve stitches back on the needles. Place a stitch marker on the beginning of the round so you don’t lose track of it. Knit in the round in the Sleeves lace pattern. At 8 cm from the underarm, knit in 2x2 rib for 3 cm and bind-off.
