Easter Joy Amigurumi Garland

Approximate size: 4.7 inches/12 cm tall (bunnies), 48 inches/122 cm long (garland).

 

Materials:

1 Amigurumi yarn ball – Colors: #8001 (White), #5800 (Pistachio) & #4456 (Orange);

Maxi Mouline thread – Color: Black;

Amigurumi Pelúcia yarn scraps – Color: #8001 (White);

Crochet hook – 2.5 mm;

Polyester stuffing;

Satin Ribbon No. 01;

Hot glue.

Bunnies' Heads and Bodies (4)

With the Amigurumi yarn #8001 (White)

R1: 6 sc. inside of a magic ring;

R2: 6 inc. = 12 sc.

Note: pm. on first sc.;

R3: 1 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 18 sc.;

R4: 2 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 24 sc.;

R5: 3 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 30 sc.;

R6: 4 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 36 sc.;

R7 to 12 (6 rounds): 36 sc.;

R13: 4 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 30 sc.;

R14: 3 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 24 sc.;

R15: 2 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 18 sc.

R16 – FLO: 18 sc.;

R17: 2 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 24 sc.;

Ears (8)

Sew the arms, legs and ears onto the rabbit.Embroider the eye details with black Maxi Mouline thread.

 

Tail (4)

With the Amigurumi Pelúcia yarn #8001 (White)

Make a pom-pom and glue it to the back of the rabbit's body with hot glue.

 

Carrots (5)

With the Amigurumi yarn #4456 (Orange)

R1: 6 sc. inside of a magic ring;

R2: 6 inc. = 12 sc.

R3: 12 sc.;

R4: 1 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 18 sc.;

R5 & 6: 18 sc.;

R7: 2 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 24 sc.;

R8: 24 sc.;

R9: 3 sc., 1 inc. to eor = 30 sc.;

R10 to 13 (4 rounds): 30 sc.;

R14: 3 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 24 sc.;

R15: 2 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 18 sc.;

R16: 1 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 12 sc.;

Fasten off with a reverse magic ring.

 

Carrot Leaves (5)

With the Amigurumi yarn #5800 (Pistachio)

R1: 6 sc. inside of a magic ring;

R2: 6 sc.

Note: pm. on first sc.;

R3: 6 sc.

Make 3 leaves. Fasten the first 2 and don't cut the yarn of the third.

R4: Join the leaves by working 6 sc. in each leaf, crocheting around until you reach the marker.  = 18 sc.;

R5: 1 sc., 1 dec. to eor = 12 sc.

Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the leaves onto the carrots.Embroider the marks on the carrot with black Maxi Mouline thread.

 

Assembly

Use Amigurumi yarn 8001 (White) to make the garland:

Make 45 ch. and attach the carrot with 1 sc. in the center leaf.

Make 15 ch. and attach it to the bunny's ear with 1 sc.

Make 10 ch., attach it to the second ear with 1 sc., then make 15 ch. and attach the next carrot with 1 sc.

Repeat this sequence until all elements are attached.

Finish with 45 ch. after the last carrot.

Make 2 tassels and attach one to each end of the garland for a neat finish.Glue the bows made with satin ribbon onto the bunnies.
