Gauge: A 10 cm (3.94″) square in Pattern St (diag 1) using the 3.5 mm hk = 11 sts x 7 rows.
Instructions: Transfer the patterns to the tracing paper to use as a reference when making the piece. Note the arrows on the measurement diagram indicating the direction of work.
Scarf: Use the 3.5 mm crochet hk and La Belle yarn in color Brown Sugar. Start the piece from the bottom with a chain of 47 ch. Over this chain, wk in Pattern St foll the diag 1 and the rep st from 1st to 108th row. Fo the yarn with approximately 40 cm (15.75″), pass this yarn through the tapestry needle and join the lower and upper parts (25 cm / 9.84″) with basting stitches.
