Materials
Círculo Inlove Slim – 610g - color 7625 (chestnut).
6.0 mm Círculo knitting needles
5.0 mm Círculo circular knitting needles– 100 cm cable
Stitches used
2x2 rib: k2, p2, k2.
Stockinette: k on the right side, p on the wrong side.
Gauge – 10x10 cm square in stockinette, with 6.0 mm needles = 16 sts x 24 rows.
Execution
Back – cast-on 78 sts on 6.0 mm needles and work in 2x2 rib for 10 cm. Then work in stockinette and bind-off all sts when the panel measures 70 cm from the cast-on edge.
Right front – cast-on 38 sts on 6.0 mm needles and work in 2x2 rib for 10 cm. Work in stockinette for another 30 cm. When the panel measures 40 cm, shape the neckline by decreasing, at the beginning of the row, 1 st every 4th row, 16 times in total. Bind-off all sts when the panel measures 70 cm from the cast-on edge.
Left front – same as the right front, but make the increases at the end of the row instead of the beginning so the panel is mirrored.
Sleeves – cast-on 42 sts on 6.0 mm needles and work in 2x2 rib for 8 cm. Then work in stockinette, increasing 1 sts every 8th row 12 times in total. Bind-off all sts when the panel measures 48 cm from the cast-on edge.
Finishing– seam the shoulders. With the circular needles, pick up 320 sts around the front of the cardigan, starting at the bottom right edge, going through the back neckline and ending at the bottom left. Work in 2x2 rib for 8 cm, then bind-off all sts.
Seam the sleeves to the sides of the body (21 cm on each side). Seam the sides of the body and close the sleeves.
