Stitches used

1x1 rib: k1, p1, k1. Stockinette: k on the right side, p on the wrong side. Broken rib: 1st row: p1, k1, p1. 2nd and all even rows: k all sts. 3rd row: k1, p1, k1. 5th row: repeat row 1.

Gauge– 10x10 cm square in established st pattern, using 7.0 mm needles = 15 sts x 26 rows.

Execution – Front/back – both are made the same way. Cast-on 57 sts on 7.0 mm needles and work in broken rib, following the instructions for 45 cm; bind-off 14 sts on each side of the panel for the shoulders. For the collar, work the 29 center sts in broken rib, following the instructions for 2 cm, then in 1x1 rib for another 1 cm. Bind-off all sts.

Finishing– seam the shoulders and the sides of the collar. Seam the sides of the body, leaving the top 15 cm open to create the armholes.
